I officially denounce my state! Posted 04.29.2009 at 05.15 PM by ETS FTW So I read in the news today that my once Red State, NH, has gone completely liberal and voted in gay marriages. It hurts to my core that my once great state is no longer the shining beacon of conservatism in the North East. Next they're going to change the state motto of "Live Free or Die." the new 4 letter word Posted 08.20.2008 at 02.48 AM by ETS FTW For some time it seems to me that saying you're American is like using a 4 letter word. Being in the Army I travel a lot all over the world. I get the briefs about keeping a low profile etc. I'm beyond the point of appologizing for being American. On my first overseas tour I felt really out of place. I was stationed in Japan, btw I'm 6'1 and very pastie, I stick out just a bit. You know what I learned though. The Black national anthem? Euro Cup 2008 Posted 06.23.2008 at 09.05 AM by ETS FTW I used to be a very avid fan, watching my favorite teams nearly everytime they were playing. It used to be one of the only things I would sit and watch on TV. However living outside of the US for nearly 5 of the last 7 years has changed that. Suddenly though my wife and I found ourselves watching of all things soccer. The tournament that it being co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland is quite important. intro Posted 06.10.2008 at 07.37 AM by ETS FTW OK for those who don't know me here's a quick snapshot. I am currently in the US Army stationed overseas. I have been in for nearly 8 years. I am very conservative, I like to think that I can see others points of view. On that same note I don't play well with extremist wack jobs, either right wing or left wing.
