I broke the system!

Posted 06.25.2009 at 10.25 AM by Frenzy
For the last month the weekly fuel report that the company sends me has had only the last 13 week useage and has not listed the last week. There is a report that my DM puts up that lists statistics for the drivers in his fleet, and I am missing from that report.

Turns out that the system rejects any MPG reports higher than 9.99 mpg as being anomalous data.

I feel bugged every time I look at the monthly terminal reports. The reports are sorted by miles (which are not controlled by the driver) and DCI. The company would be so much better off if they sorted the list by mpg only. Drivers are competitive, and will change behavior to get themselves to the top of the list (or at least off of the bottom).

Vacation starting on Sat. Going on a one week cruise to Alaska. Should be nice. But since I have to pack Friday night for getting on the ship on Sat, the econo mode driving I normally do is going up the stack. I ain't gonna be driving up the breakdown lane in Oregon on this run!!
