Pilot to take over Flying J...pilot to make changes that will effect your health.

Posted 3 Weeks Ago at 12.42 PM by ghostchild
Have you heard? Pilot is taking over the Flying J at the beggining of the year...and I just found out today that they're going to make radical changes to the stores...that will effect driver moral and health in a negitave way...

1. They're removing all the selection of food in the store that drivers have come to love and appreciate so much...
a. Removing the pizza shop
b. Removing the China bowl buffet
c. Removing all the variety of food at the cashier isle, which includes the turkey legs, chicken legs, shiskabobs, salad, potato wedges, potatoe salad, ect ect...

I find this to be very insulting to say the least...their going to replace all that and replace with hot dogs and those nasty tasting toastidos...yuk!...
Their replaceing all that good food, with Hot Dogs!...grown men and women don't need to be eating hot dogs after a long day of hard work....high in sodium and fat...

Flying J's were some of the last truck stops built with the drivers comfort in mind...the whole architectual lay out...
Yes even the lay out of the truck stop matters...they have a lounge, boths to sit at and plug in computers...a video game room, and private closed in phone booths...(yes I know outdated)...

but I do believe if Mr J himself were still alive...he'd have the J still in a very competitve mode...

I find it insulting that you, Pilot, would come in and make all these changes without even consulting the drivers on what they want...I find it insulting that you Pilot, would come in and change a store, that many have grown accustamed and comfortable with over the years...to totally take away the food that many have gotten use to, and replace it with fast food grease...
Is this what you think of us Pilot??
Is this all drivers are worth to you??

No wonder the average lifespan of a driver is 10-15 years shorter than the general populations...

Pilot, your part of what has ruined the trucking experience for many drivers...your stores don't even allow drivers to lounge and socialize and hang out after a long shift on the road...
On my particular route...flying Js are or were the only thing I had to look forward to...but now your taking that away from me...thanks a lot...
Thanks a lot for making the trucking experience all the more bland and mundane...I'm not done with you...
