This co. if they take a dislikin to you they will give you a load at 1300 that picks up at 2100 and does not get loaded until 2330 and then you have to go 400 mile and deliver at 1100. If you do the load they will fire you for it and claim you went over hour of service. then put it on your dac that you violated hour of service rule. what a bunch of no driving dings. do not work for these guys let them go out of business and see how it feels to be put out of business. oh and by the way they claim i made 4800 but only saw 400 make since to you not me.

companies not to work for

swift- bad pay, bad equipment, bad trainers
specialized express out of columbus, oh- boss who thinks he knows everything and is about as mechanically inclined as my left pinky toe, messes with miles, takes maney out of pay all at once where you loose your home and get custody of children take away because you don't show up for court because they don't want to give you your home time, kids seem to liek to see their parents once in a while. want you to drive a truck to yard after dr puts you off work and give you pain killers- i also live 22 mi from scale house. tells you to fudge books or get reported for stealing their equipment, oh and lets not forget that if all else fails we put crap on daq, like abondonment of equipment after they tell you to clean it out because you can't drive it to the yard.
small local companies- they might go under because of fuel prices- lord knows you might only be able to work for them for less than a year.
o/o's- some of them don't like to keep their equipment legal- plates,repairs like air leaks-put pancakes in wrong-no brakes.or plain out truck not working more than sitting because he tears it apart at 3 pm and dont get parts for three days
