Quick Turn...where are the cars?

Made a quick turn trip to DFW and back yesterday. Rather uneventfull, but did enjoy the lack of traffic in metro area at 3PM. Kind of strange to see. Got into a 80MPH group of cars and rolled to Houston. Saw a single bear along the way. That was it. Scales all locked up, for a second I had to pinch myself to make sure it was not all a dream. Never even hit the brakes until we got into Conroe and that construction area. Even that was easier then usual to get through.

Hammer Lane 2009

Started a new group yesterday in the Social Groups area and I named it "Hammer Lane".

Why? A lot of groups and a lot of focus on types of drivers and I really did not see one where I really fit. There has to be a lot of drivers like me. Not a rookie, and not ready to be called an Old Timer. In the middle. Hard Core, Run Hard and Arrive on time. Not trying to kill anybody, not going to drive too tired, but the load will deliver on time. The idea is to get it off the dock,...
