Now I'm a professional!!! Maybe not... Posted 03.28.2009 at 07.31 PM by IrishOKelley So... I finished truck driving school and received my CDL. I went up to my road instructor, Dennis and said, "Guess I'm a professional driver now." He replied, "Nah, now you're a CDL holder. You've just started the learning." I've been thinking a lot about that statement. I'm just starting a new career. It's a lot different from my corporate job. I get a week off before USA orientation, then I'm on the road. These are the voyages... Posted 02.27.2009 at 08.37 AM by IrishOKelley So this is my first blog. I have my CDL Class A permit. I passed all the tests for all the endorsements the first time through!!! I don't know if that means I'm smart or just a good test taker. I start with C1 Truck driving school on March 9th. I'm excited to get started. This voyage started when I was a kid. I remember taking trips with my parents.
