Help Me

Posted 10.08.2008 at 01.07 PM by jhollingshed03
Hi to all fellow truckers thanks for reading this and to all who answer back thanks for your help.I got a speeding ticket back in January in my truck 53/35 but I know I wasnt going that fast instead of me going to court in febuary I let them convict me by not showing up I quit driving for swift a little after (pay issues) recently I tried to go back but they told me because of the ticket I cant be rehired. I called J.B. Hunt a little after I left Swift the first time and they sent me home from orientation because of 2 suspended license charges I got back in 2002 and 2005 they I didnt take care of the 2002 one until 2005 along with the other so they were under 3 years old so they said call them back in october after I left swifts orientation for the second time when they sent me home for that speeding ticket I called J.B. Hunt and they said that the 2005 suspended license now says 2006 and there saying it will be three years old in june of 2009 so they said they cant hire me because I have a suspended license over 30 days within three years. My question is what can I do to get back on the road somebody tell me please.

try getting your dac record. and check into it yourself. make sure swift didn't put something on it, they did mine. said a load where i wrecked because of faulty truck (tie-rod) was a hazmat load. i had been trying to get them to look at truck the whole month after recieving truck (needing repairs because it was wrecked by someone else when i picked it up) and the tie-rod was going out of it real bad. could have been killed. answer when i picked truck up was to patch front driver side hood with duck tape and two plates and eight bolts to put mirrors on. hehehe. i'm not the one that really wrecked the truck in the backing incident if i want to be truthful to you because i had an experienced driver try to back it and he was the one to tell me take it to yard and tell them to drive it to load it with family in it come back safely then i might deliver it. it took 5 days to fix the tie-rod. got wrote up for equipment abuse. go figure. tahnk god i kept pics from pu of truck. had letter of trainer etc. sent to main office. but it still is on my dac. trying to get things straightened out. if they don't wan to take it off they wont but they leave it on there as long as they want.
