Friday night at the races... Posted 06.20.2008 at 10.30 AM by latanea Just got home from Carlisle Pa. stopped in pittsburgh and swapped a pup - then rolled on home... going to nap now - but will be ready to go to racetrack tonight... (my chace for a 10 second pass down the quarter is becoming legend in Cincinnati racing circles) seems like the black / blue bike has a barrier - it will run low 11's allllll dayyyyy - but can not get near that... grande finale ala teamster week Posted 06.19.2008 at 02.03 AM by latanea just got the work call - going to harrisburg pa. (448 miles) 90% chance of coming home on rest - so that will finish my week at 2490 miles and 6 hours on the clock (1500 bucks +/-) not the best week possible - but not bad for being in my own bed 4 nights this week and having about 60 hours at home. work work work Posted 06.18.2008 at 06.13 PM by latanea well my call came 3 nights back... cincy to atlanta - (479 miles) 10 hours in hotel atlanta to winston to richmond - (550 miles) 10 hours in hotel richmond to cincy - (540 miles) (whew!) of course I had an ancient truck with no a/c and only on the leg fron atlanta to winston did I have power steering... so I took today off and went to the grocery with the wife...... cool evening - no leather Posted 06.14.2008 at 10.42 PM by latanea crap guys - I just rode home from the riverboats and I am COLD.... the wind about chilled me tonight.. when I left the house it was 85 degrees - but when the sun went down it dropped quick. as far as work goes - I ran down to Nashville and back home today (600 miles). prtty uneventful except for the RV wreck on I-65 up by E-town... anyway - time for bed - and time to wake wife up when... Well folks - it is official - I am nothing but white biker trash (according to the sista in the car next to me at a red light a few hours ago...) I woke from my evening nap and pulled the scooter out of the garage. I took great pains to not start it until I was suited up and ready to ride...
