My first blog...let's see, hmmm???

I've been driving for almost 4 years now. I've seen the best and the worst the industry has...before driving I used to travel all around the country as a lumper. And yes, this industry has some of the best and some the most....well, let's say...bums. But now I'm a driver and I suppose I'll always be a driver...or at least in touch with the industry.
This is my third week of unemployment and still looking. No accidents, no tickets and no cargo claims. I'll keep hunting but when I find a company, I'll go in with a winner's attitude. No quitting for me. I *will* be hoping that this one doesn't go bankrupt like the last one. My husband has been a great source of morale and between the two of us, we're rather hard to stop. That is once we get going again.
I'd like to make this my online diary as there aren't very many women who are willing to divulge their day-to-day lives. And that's as it should be. But I march to the beat of a different drum. I hope to break into heavy haul...flatbed at the least. But no glass loads for me...I like driving like my hair's on fire<lol>. Keep yer fingers crossed and let's hope that we find something soon. I'm reminded that my husband and I are a team and there ain't no "quit" in team.
