Posted 07.12.2008 at 06.38 AM by Phil1Fla
Well I sent on more apps yesterday and got no e-mails nor phone calls. I guess one of these days i'll hit one that is looking for someone like me.

Out real estate guy called yesterday and said that he was going to drop us as a customer.. Anyway he has a friend. and the friend is how we got into this mess.. I think I'll stay away from other peoples friends. I might get a better deal, and get our home sold...

THE 11th

Posted 07.11.2008 at 10.08 AM by Phil1Fla
We have someone coming out to look at the house, So I had to mow and trim this morning.

Now that is done I can start my daily search.
I know that when it happens it will happen. So the key is to keep plugging along. There is truth in the fact if you don't have a job you can't find a job But if you have a job they are always trying to hire you away from the job you have.

My problem is that I have had two on the job injurys and companies don't want the...

the 10th

well anyway I put out more apps yesterday. Nothing new yet. I'll keep posting and send out apps. I have stripped the pilot car last night. Signs and stuff are gone, So is the Insurance. Now it is a personal auto. So now all I have to do is find someone to work for.

Also I think that we have found a house in Oregon that the wife and I both like. We are going to move to Oregon because of her dad. He will be 79 soon and she wants to be near just in case something happens to him. He lost...

And we start another day looking

Posted 07.09.2008 at 09.39 AM by Phil1Fla
Well I have started an another day looking for work.. Being away from a truck over 3 1/2 years it makes me like a rookie in some minds.
Even though I have years and years on the road... I had a call from one recruiter yesterday and want to know had I driven in the last year..
She didn't want to know that I had driven for years and years. Just that I had to have driven in the last year. Driving truck is like riding a bike one you learn you can still do it. you might be a little rusty,...

another day

Posted 07.08.2008 at 02.26 PM by Phil1Fla
well using a computer to look for a job is still work. between yesterday and today I place 55 apps to trucking companies. A lot of time and effort is going into this game. I received a call and might be on my way to North Dakota to play tiller man on very long loads. If it was up to me I wouldn't get back into a truck again, But the business I'm in is not doing well. Seeing that I'm one of those people that when a trucking goes bankrupt I don't get paid. I have had that happen twice this year.....
