I have a pictures of the road tru my windshield going.
Here, will be about everything else.
Here I am...
I don't know if his story is true or not, and I do not care much.
Sorry but though luck.
And it reminded me of somethin'.
A long time ago, I was young and much more stupid than I am now. I did something really stupid one and I learned from it.
The girlfriend and I were in her car about 50 miles from home around 2AM.
We got into a fight before getting into the car to get back home and she got in and leaving me standing on the curb.
For a while, I was thinking (hoping) that she would come back.
She didn't.
That was before bank card and cell phones so I had the money that I had in my pockets (not enough for a cab) and nothing else, no credit cards.
So, I hitchhiked. But at 2-3AM, the odds are against you.
So, I walked, and walked, and walked.
After about 2 hours, I got a little ride (5miles) from a cop.
Then I walked about 2 more hours. By then I was tire, cold and still 20 miles from my place.
Then I got lucky, somebody picked me up and dropped me off a block away from my apartment.
I never talked to that chick again.
I gave up on whatever I had at her place and what she had at mine, I put in a bag at the curb. Don't know if she picked it up or the if it ended up in the garbage truck, I didn't (and still don't) care.
But, the real lesson I learned 20 years ago is never get in a fight if:
A- You're not where you're going to sleep.
B- You don't have the keys to the car.
