Good deed for the week.... Posted 06.14.2009 at 01.48 PM by rookietrucker I was coming home last night on the scooter(harley) around midnight. I see a white suv ahead of me about two blocks sitting at the light with brake lights on. Light turned green and the suv did not move. By the time I got to the light, it had turned red. So I changed lanes and pulled up next to the suv which turned out to be a fairly new GMC Denali. One of those big fancy smancy expensive GMC suv's. Getting Lost Posted 09.11.2008 at 07.33 PM by rookietrucker Life on the road as a truck driver can be a roller coaster. Some days everything runs smooth and perfect. Then there are days everything seems to go wrong. You never know what to expect. Putting up with traffic on a daily basis is enough to tear any professional driver’s nerves apart. Add bad weather to the equation with a bad set of directions. What you have is a recipe for disaster with severe consequences for that driver. It was December 2006.
