Yeeeeeeeeee hawwwwwwwwwww the courts accepted the paperwork this time BUT I was given a court date of October 2nd to appear. It seems my circumstances are a wee bite out of the ordinary. The court liaison who helped me went and actually talked to a judge, who said he wanted to hear the case. He didn't want any of Katie's confidential info made public. All divorce papers filed are a matter of public record. Sooooo I'll need to fly back but no big deal I was told once I saw the judge and explained all this that *poof* he grant the divorce that day.
I decided to celebrate my triumph with dinner with my mom tonight.
All in all it's been a wild week but a productive one.
