Another accident.... Posted 01.09.2010 at 07.30 AM by snowbunny Was sleeping really good this morning when the phone woke me up... It was my husband which makes my heart stop instantly, as he never wakes me up unless there is a problem... First thing he tells me is he loves me so much...I know he's upset, and that stops my breathing... "I watched a man die this morning", he told me. Just Because... Posted 01.03.2010 at 09.35 PM by snowbunny Just needed a place to write, so here I am. My blog usually stays pretty empty, as all thoughts usually fit into a thread on this site... Lately, though, they just haven't. My husband has been away since November and I guess for the first time it has really taken a toll. Accident has me all shook up... Posted 09.11.2009 at 10.26 AM by snowbunny While on our way home from our family vacation in WI, Aug 2, travelling East on 90, we suddenly came to a hault! Accident. Really close. Just happened. Can see smoke. Two big trucks blocked the Intersate, just two cars ahead of us, and parked and went to help. After a few min one of the drivers started directing traffic on to the shoulder to get past the accident. Once past the road block I saw what I never wanted to see as a driver's wife. ... There is HOPE! Posted 03.31.2009 at 04.54 PM by snowbunny Wee Haw! My baby got a 3K+ run to MA, and we could actually be able to hook up for the long weekend! Which is nice because it is our daughter's birthday AND easter! Not supposed to get too excited yet because "you know trucking" and we have been dissapointed before, but we have also been very lucky before, so in the meantime I can't help but be excited! snowbunny Medium Load Member

The longest time apart... Posted 03.29.2009 at 08.41 PM by snowbunny I married my driver just a month and half ago...Happiest day of my life! Then it was back to work...the longest we've ever been apart is six weeks, and even then we were able to hook up in NY a few times in between. This time he won't be home until the middle of May.
