I love politics, as you all know. In this blog, I will add some of my thoughts on this FASCINATING time in which we live and watch World War III build. If you are a politically correct, sensitive imbecile, you may not want to read my blog as it might make you think for yourself, God forbid!

A Balance Disturbed?

Posted 06.11.2008 at 06.29 AM by WiseOne
I was thinking of something yesterday and I wanted to put my thoughts down on this.

Balance: EVERYTHING on earth, in our lives, or in earth depends on a balance. We all hear of a "balanced diet" and on and on, right? Well, the earth, too, HAS to have a certain balance to it, right? Ok, so think about it, we have been changing the balance of the earth for about 150 years by taking HEAVY oil from certain parts of the earth and redistributing that weight elsewhere (whether in the atmosphere, or in other continents where it wasn't there before we did this).

How is this going to affect the balance of the earth then? Get you a scale...put weight on EACH end...balance that scale...NOW take most of the weight from one side and put it on the other...of course, it drops that end of the scale down. The same HAS to be true for the entire world as well! Will the earth start wobbling? HOW will the earth compensate for this? Earthquakes? A polar shift? Make no mistake, something WILL give.

Say the Middle East HAD a weight of 10 billion pounds. NOW, after all these years of raping their oil and putting the weight in America say we have 8 billion more pounds here now...HOW can this NOT have an effect? So, if the Middle East now has 2 billion pounds and America 8 billion pounds, we have shifted the balance of the scale.

In the Bible, it was stated, "and the earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard." Something to think about.

THINK!

My opinion

The basis of your theory is flawed.
I will explain why.
When drilling for oil or gas, the well must maintain balance.
This is done by "weighting up" or"cutting" the drilling mud.
The drilling mud weight is used to counter the pressure and weight of what is in the hole.
An unbalanced well is a very dangerous situation.
You hear about this in the news when one blows or burns up the rig.

BUT.............. hmmmmmmm..........

But here is where your theory has "some weight"
After Drilling operations.......
As the well is produced, a general practice is to pump Brine or saltwater into the space that is evacuated by the reservoir of oil or gas.

What happens after is also "theory".
So, yours may be as correct as the Geologist!
I didn't consider this when I started writing this comment.
In closing, I Retract that your theory is Flawed.
I will just close with, I enjoy your opinions in these Blogs, and I sit with you and the rest of this world to see the consequences of our actions.

What a mess..........

Well, pumping stuff back in is fine and dandy, BUT that something has to come from somewhere as well...so, either way balances ARE being disturbed on a MASSIVE scale. So, wherever they got this saltwater at will have less weight as well. You are correct, what a mess! I wish I was a scientist so I could do some good experiments on this. Like, take a globe and try to duplicate (as best as could be done) the balance of the Earth, take the rotation of the Earth, calculate it down to size for the experiment, take weights from some areas and add them to other areas and ALSO take some weight away (to compensate for the burned gas and waste going into the air) and see just HOW the Earth would react.

1) Would the Earth compensate and redistribute well enough and HOW...what would give?

2) Would the tectonic plates stay the same or move (earthquakes, etc)

3) Would there, eventually, be a shift of disastrous proportions (polar shift)

Other things I would like to compensate for is how the atmosphere would/will react to all of this as well...but how to make an experiment that would duplicate our complicated atmosphere?

See what I am saying...ok IF they fill these ENORMOUS holes with saltwater, then the oceans would be changed as well AND the makeup of Earth's soil would have to be changed as well...what, in time, will be the results of this. There HAS to be some...eventually. And, I do think we are building up to this faster and faster now.

Take saltwater (oceans, seas, etc.)...even the MOON changes the levels of the water due to its gravity...(tides)...so we know, for a fact, that there are effects on the oceans...

Saltwater is VERY buoyant...oil is very heavy...this cannot, in my mind, compensate enough for this change deep under the Earth. Plus, what are the effects when the moon is even over this area that had HUGE deposits of oil filled with saltwater now? Does the moon pull on oil below the surface the same way it SHOULD with the saltwater under the ground replacing these HUGE holes now?

There has to be something that WILL give, just has to be is all I am saying, hmmmm.....

Provocative indeed.
