| Worked for them for 10 years. Quitting to become O/O with Landstar. Calark is very good about keeping you moving. They are not shy about dead heading you to where the freight is. I have dead headed from Laredo to Little Rock several times. What they would do is if there were more drivers there than freight in laredo, they would dead head company drivers out and give the loads to lease drivers. Laredo is the only place I might have to sit till the next day to get a load. Generally the only time I sat for a load for more than half a day was because it was a weekend or holiday. Safety rides you hard to keep legal but there are ways to cut corners. |
