I live in Red Lake, haul propane from Winnipeg to Red Lake for $500 a trip. Takes 1 hour to load and about 3 to unload.
600 miles
$500
3 hours work time
Whatever that works out to.

Could you give me some company names that hire 21 year olds just so I can still try calling them and asking them if they would hire me?

I seriously doubt ANYONE will, our insurance regs usually won't let anyone under 25 be out on their own. BTW, an American CDL is NOT recognized up here, you would have to go through the whole gammit to get your license here.
Your best bet is to find a carrier down there who will take you on as a trainee, companies don't do that here...

You might try down in Mexico. I don't think they have any CDL rules, at least no rules that cant be undone for a little cash.

Canadian CDL ( A class with Z endorsement ) is very similar to the US CDL , very few will hire you if you do not have a CDL as they do not train in the same way as US companies do.
A few companies have their own schools , others put you with a Mentor , and most are FLOODED with applicants.
