proheat gen 4
hey y'all i'm looking for a manual for an older gen 4 proheat apu. there website doesn't even acknowledge them anymore. got some bad fuel in illinois changed the fuel filter back here in winnipeg now it'll run forever but i have no heater, a/c or fan nor does the generator work. i can live without the fan and heat/ a/c for now but would really like the electricity. any ideas? either on where to get a manual or whats wrong?

I have a pro heat (newer model '07) on my tractor but havent had any issues at this point. There may be fuses in the unit like the newer models have? Is there any breakers/fuses inside that you have noticed? Come to think of it I had a breaker on the generator to trip one time and the reset was almost hidden kinda on the bottom side of the generator. Once I reset it I got power back to the 110v plug in inside the cab. Your belt could/may be worn or stretched causing improper operation also. I would start with a call to proheat and talk with a tech on troubleshooting it or find an authorized repair facility if possible.

I went out to the tractor and got the owners manual for my Gen4 which is actually an 06 model. If you don't already have the info here it is:
Teleflex Energy Power Systems

Hope this helps you.Last edited by rambler; 12.28.2010 at 12.01 PM. Reason:: added info
