Ontario job?
Looking for a new job. Been driving a straight truck seasonally since 2002 and i want year round work. I have an AC-Z license but have not driven a transport since getting my license.
Has anyone transitioned from straight to transport lately? How?
Small company or big?

That's a tough one. Technically you have no experience,so passing a road test and getting hired could prove tough.(Hooking up a trailer, pretripping, etc).
My advice for you is this: Depending on where you live,go to a driver service, they will send you out to companies that need temp drivers and I have yet to see a company "road test" a temp. They need a driver and you're the guy! Once you feel confident about pretrips and driving go find a REAL job and get yourself into an employer/employee relationship by cutting out the middleman. Don't let the service "pimp you out" any longer than necessary.
