    Weight limits in Canada?

Hello all. I currently have trucks operating in the State of Maine. In the near future I may need to start hauling a few loads a week out of the Montreal region back into Maine.
In Maine I can operate at a GVW of 100,000 lbs. when using a tri-axle trailer.
I am wondering what the legal weight limits are in Canada, how many trailer axles are required, any bridge law requirements and if there are any spring time restrictions?
    Thank you.

Multiply by 2.204 to convert to pounds.

I Should also say, make sure that your truck is limited (electronically) to 105 km/h or less (100 if hauling hazmat), and wheelbases must not exceed 244 inches.

After reading the Quebec info, I would say that you're good for 104,500 lbs.

watch out for the spring thaw season in Quebec, the website will tell you the exact weights, it is roughly 15 % less than normal, Quebec is the only province where spring weight restrictions also apply to the main highways.
