I just signed up to Manulife $57.00, $5,000,000 EMerg. medical, 10 day trips,no travel ins.which I noticed that's in case your trip is cancelled, lost baggage etc. so I save $40.00.

Ya, I guess I assumed too my employers just had me covered but found out that isn't the case.
I'll be glad when the Teamsters get us all coverd - 10-4.

We make sure all drivers have out of country coverage. Presently using NAL in Ontario and it's under $20/mth. After the 3 mth trial period, the drivers are covered under our insurance.
We had drivers starting who assured us they were covered under their spouse's plan. After informing them to check, they found out they were only covered for personal trips and not for business. For under $20/mth it's worth it until they're covered under the company plan.

    "CoverMe™ Travel for Travelling Canadians

Are you going to the USA for business for a day or two? Perhaps you're exploring Canada's coast, heading to the Caribbean or travelling overseas? CoverMe Travel insurance for Canadians travelling out-of-province protects you against the cost of unexpected emergencies that may occur during your trip."

I pay $57.00 a year, $5,000,000.00 coverage., U.S./ Canada, 10 day max. trips - no travel ins though so if i lose my bags or my flight is cancelled i guess i'm sol.
