I'm out working in alberta. Been here less than a month and love it. I don't have a place to stay but I get a living allowance daily. I just sleep in the truck during the week and get a hotel for the weekends. Worked over 60 hours this week in 6 days.I'm thinking about moving here permantly as there's just no money in BC. I'd rather work hard for 9-10 months a year and take a couple months off.

Hi there youg fella'! So you made 2 grand plus your sub this week.

There's a CanAm parked at the House of Knowledge with a load of peat moss. He's been there since friday afternoon, asked him if he's getting paid to sit........ says it's included in the mileage rate. :biggrin_255:

    nate980,
Who are you working for if you don't mind my asking? I'm in Victoria and start my CDL school on the 1st of October with a mind to go to the oilpatch and drive. Do you have any names of companies that you can think of? I'd appreciate any help/advice you can give me. Be safe out there!
