Have I missed something ?? Did the 30 REALLY, seriously, open up, TOTALLY bypassing Montreal, in December ????? I must've missed the world wide fireworks display that night !!

Really, is it finally open ??

Did they toll it like they said ?

Sorry, I 'don't get out' anymore as much as I used too ....... catch my drift ... ?

Twenty years late, with a toll bridge at one end, but still welcome. Guess we should enjoy the drive before everyone else finds out about it; then it'll be clogged up with traffic as usual.

Wishfull thinking on all our parts - I give it 20 minutes to clog-down - That said, I give it 15 years to be as bad as what the 20 and 40 thru town are now.

That's actually a nice ride, when the locals aren't trying to push you down the road.

Yeah - I concur - It's not a bad ride. I used to bring alot of loads up to the Townships from New Jersey, and I decked alot of lumber from NS to Valleyfield over the years. Traffic was usually good and the people were great. That said, being an old big miler from days of yore, I still love new big roads that by-pass old, congested, big roads.
