Are you upgrading , or bailing...? I thought I read that you changed jobs because of Cali .

( never mind I just read your post in where are you.....) seasonal is good work trick is something for every season. And be able to sit at home between seasons.

What mpg (us gallons) or km/L if you prefer, was this truck averaging?

Nice truck...last truck I drove before buying was the silver sister to yours. Nothing classier. If it had 46k rears it would be perfect. Good luck!

Not upgrading. I finished my contract due to cali regs and the age of the truck. Have been looking around for work but not too impressed with the going rates at the moment. $1 per mile plus FSC just isnt my idea of running a truck profitably!
The work i have coming up is seasonal driving my father-in-laws truck hauling fertilizer for cargill.
I did good with my truck while I had it so I can afford to take some time off at the moment but getting bored !

Summer time 5.8 to 6 mpg US, winter time 5 to 5.5 mpg US. I allways found that on Husky winter fuel I would get lower mpg than Flying J winter fuel in canada.

You drove unit #140 for agritel? How long ago? That truck was sold on as well when the fleet was upgraded. They are both solid trucks that never had too many problems compared to the cummins engined T2000's.
What are you doing these days? Do you know of any profitable work for an O/O? Send me a PM if you do.

No...just an identical model & year truck, sounds like same spec...for an O/O in AB. I loved that truck, turned heads everywhere. If I went up north I would get one of these & go through it completely.

Sorry, nothing in your neck of the woods for work though....but, have you looked into Turk? I see them out this way all the time pulling tridems and the equipment looks well cared for. Never heard anything bad about them.
