Not sure if they closed it off again, will drive by today and let you know.
As for parking behind the mall, I saw they put up no truck signs by marks so can't access it anymore. They put up cement barriers at the petro-can so very limited parking there.
Think its time to send a e-mail to the idiots on silly council to let them know how they are so anti trucking.

Just did a tour through town. If your over 47t your not welcome to stop in town. Even at the petro can on the hiway. You can still park behind the casino but can only get in there by the service road in front of it or the entrance by Tim hortons. Can't access it by Walmart. Even the light industrial section behind McDonald's is a no truck route on certain roads. Remember all roads appear to be max 47t.
I bought my house here on the condition that I could bring my truck home and was assured by the police, bylaw dept, and city hall that I could. Things changed and no one was informed of this. Only people with school bus's and garbage trucks can park in residential areas. Both companies have yards here and can park and plug vehicles in in the winter but we as highway drivers don't have that option.
As I said, I think it's time to send an e-mail to the idiots in city hall and tell them what I think of there new laws.
They are just cutting there own throat by not allowing trucks in town. -
Very surprising considering the amount of trucks that go through there in a day.. You would think they would wanna capture that market.

Is it the same thing across the river?

Guys! Guys! You have to realize that this boy is from Ireland. (at least according to his profile) Its roughly 285 miles from North to south Ireland and it can take him two days to drive it. So for him a sixty mile hop is a big one. Big truck small wienie driving it. Don't be offended...What does he know?
