*Update* Back again,
I did get a job hauling Bins (off Kijiji) and boy was taking that job a mistake. The company and guys where great. They hired a whack load of people and only 2 people made it, me being 1 of them. I got 4 days training and quit 2 weeks later. To make a long story short, I was hired and had to take 8 different Certs within 2 days and fill out 100 pages of company policies written up from a law firm. My first day we had a meeting about how they are on the verge of losing there commercial license *Red Flag?*. Well I was trained for 4 days (New Truck) and then given an old truck. The old trucks where safety hazards from hell lol. I spent a lot of time either fixing the trucks or finding/making tools that where either broken or not there at all. My Truck's Clutch didn't work 80!! I'd have to slam the gear in when stopped because when you push the Clutch in, the Transmission is still going. I took it to them and they told me to just keep slamming the gear in lol. I tried to down shift before every Red Light/Stop sign ect.., but city driving makes it hard to do every time, especially when time is crucial. They hired a whole new management team before I got hired, so no one knew what was going on. Some where fired before I left. I can go on and on, but I realized this is a never ending problem. So I let them know I was quitting. I ended up Painting and soldiered on until I could get my Class 1. I acquired my Class 1 a couple of weeks ago and am ready to find a good company (*who knows how to take care of their Trucks/Equipment*) to work for. Any suggestions??
