Hey y'all... Just wated to introduce myself to the Forum...
I'm a high energy person who thoroughly enjoys the road and all the challenges. I'm not yet a truck driver, but I'm enrolled in school and I'm supposed to start Aug 5, 2014... If I can pull the funds together...
Does anybody know of any companies in New Brunswick that would sponser a student in return for a 1-2 year working contract? Any other advise or ideas to raise funding for training will also be greatly appreciated!
Lookin forward to hearing from yas!

Welcome to the forum. I think you best avenue to investigate would probably be through a big company such as Bison or Challenger. They have extensive training programs. I don't think they will actually pay for your class 1 course. In Manitoba they have a provincially sponsored program that includes the course plus job placement. There may be a similar program offered in your province.

Like ^^ said, look into the big companies to see if you could do a contract of some sort. I know the red army(Manitoulin Transport) from here has a program like you pay half and they cover the other half if you finish a year with them(Or something along them lines).
