I frequently drive the 401 from Windsor to MTL, what are you favourite stops along the 401 or even ONT as a whole.

    Thanks

Along the 401 you're pretty much stuck with On Routes

Flying J in Napanee and Cornwall I think is just Dennys, nice showers though

Out of your route but I enjoyed the Husky in New Liskeard when I was trucking on the HWY. Gilles accross the road(petro) is apparently a much better restaurant but never went there as we fuelled at Husky, it was just easier. The Husky on the east side of Sault Ste. Marie(ON) is nice as well(same setup as New Liskeard). Everytime I was heading up the 400/401 I never stayed at any truck stops, always slept at the receiver/shipper or found an empty lot somewhere so I can't help ya out there..

When you're heading east on the 401 there's a good stop right when you cross into Quebec

TA in woodstock has the best truck stop food I have ever found so far. Are you on a fuel program that gives you better discounts at one chain over another? I recently got onto the esso key deal - usually .10/L off or so, but the "truck stops" are often cardlock only with no showers or rewards program ... lucky if there is parking and a Tim Hortons nearby ... Husky has to have the best shower program in all of north america ... Flying J just plain sucks now ... I like the big husky at 410/courtneypark in mississauga - it is about 1 mile walk if you want to go to see a movie, go to a real restaurant, and has an LA fitness over there also ... also in that husky the chinese food is very good
