Favourite Truck Stops in Ontario

Are there any huskies, anywhere, that have clean showers?

 

All the huskies I used to frequent were very clean showers. Husky in north bay on top of the hill(hwy 11) is just a fuel stop but the restaurant beside the fuel islands has very good food!!

 

The last time I drove through the bay, it looked like there was a new truck stop at the Lakeshore exit.

I think there always was an esso card lock but now there's a timmies and it looked like a travel center.... any idea?

 

Decent size esso there, last place to get decent price for fuel. New store inside, never been in it, I just go next door to tim's. Parking for probably 30-40 trucks.

 

Ya that's the binder(Lewis Motors) dealer right off the 4 lanes that you see and theres a fifth wheel in front of that thats been there for many moons. Theres a nice esso there but I've never been bothered to head into it. Does look nice and lots of truck parking though. Good place to pull into if you're scared of running the scale on 11 south hahah

Used to be a great place but like other truck stops bought out by foreigners it's getting neglected when a pump breaks it stays broken awhile always out of def fluid I gave up stopping there .

 

VERY true!! I never was the type to go into a restaurant at a truck stop but went in there a few times(New Liskeard was a good place for me to stop frequently) and by goly there were a lot of new canadians running/working that stop..
