It not as bad as you make it out to be. There is some truths. In the end it depends where you are. By the way your wife could be fooling around while your gone during the day too.... Just saying

Sorry we don't. Insurance company and I wouldn't think of sending someone off road in all conditions as a Novice only.

Try a carrier like Rosenau, even if it means a body job to start. Or anyone of the catering companies that supply camps with body jobs.

So, what would a typical income be for oilfield work? Particularly, being part of a well maintenance team and using AZ license to drive equipment to well sites? How about doing just driving i.e. hauling pipe, etc.?

Oh I don't know. All depends what area, I don't work out of grand praire but my drivers usually make 450-550 a day depending which run I have them on and if they are lazy or not.

I guess it's too simplistic to extrapolate that out to an annual income of $143K. This calculation is based on 5 days a week over 52 weeks. Even if I take out 2 weeks for vacation, it still puts it at +$130K.

20 days is a typical work month, so my simple calculation might be pretty close. My goal is to progress to driving tankers, so it's interesting to know what the compensation may be like.

    Thanks.
