    I laugh when I hear this.

    Brokers think they're "businessmen" yet I have yet to see any one of them have a company they work for open an escrow account. The driver/op takes 100% of the risk when it comes to financial liability.
    Nowadays a company should be willing to put 25G's in an account in the event they don't pay their OO'S. The bills still have to he paid, no reason why an OO should also act as finance company for a trucking firm. A security deposit of this amou is a small pittance to pay(which they keep as long as they pay the OO) to secure equipment and a driver.

    Yet everyday we see "businessmen" completely exsposed to risk that is unneccesary if escrow account can be secured.....but we don't see that.
