I'm putting together of list of companies that I would like to target for a job search. I received my AZ in October from Durham College in Whitby, Ontario.

Here's my list thus far and any comments people have (good/bad/advice) would be greatly appreciated. I've searched on the forum, but didn't find much in the way of information or current information on Canadian operations.

    Forbes-Hewlett
    Earl L Henderson
    Werner
    Laidlaw
    Challenger

The two are near the top of my list just because of their popularity, but would also like commentary.

    Kriska
    Schneider

What's the reasons behind taking Schneider and Challenger off the list?

Though I have a college education, I must be thick, because to me "out of the list" and "off of the list" are the same thing. Please explain what you're trying to say.

Your choices are a good pick. I have worked for Forbes-Hewlett and would recommend them any day.
Currently, I am with USA Trucking Services, Canada, and I love every moment working here.

That's a great comment. Forbes-Hewlett just hired me on as a new driver. Training starts on Sunday.

It wasn't happening very quick; however, I do have an interview with Sanjel in December. I'm figuring that I want to be driving full time when I'm out west as opposed to 20% drive and the rest fieldwork, that FHT will give me the driving experience to make the right move out later on.

    Speedloader Thanks this.
