    I got a really good quote on April Superflo 15w40 this week, but I don't know anyone that has ever used it. Anyone had any experience with it? We use about 4000 liters per year, so the savings will be there, but so will the risks...

    Don't know anything about the brand in question. What I do know is never try cut costs in regards to your vehicle maintenance. If you figure what your gonna save against the cost of a new engine it probably isn't worth it. My opinion only.

    I always looked at oil as being cheap and changed every 10,000 miles or sooner if it was starting to break down.

    As long as it meets API rating for your engine Id run a test and send it for oil analysis and go from there .. Their used to be a guy called Bob the oil guy not sure if site is still there it had lots of good info on oil
