You can try Transfreight MacNamara out of Ayr, I believe they have Canada only lanes. Also, if you talk to Challenger, they might have a team/mentor position and they have a yard in Cambridge and Vancouver. There is also a company called Western Logistics headquartered out of Nova Scotia but have an office in Brampton or somewhere up there. They have LCV runs from GTA to Nova Scotia. Day&Ross also have Ontario to Alberta runs I believe, their main Ontario terminal is up at the end of the 410. Good luck in your search and career. Don't let others throw a wet blanket on your dreams either. We all had to start somewhere.

Thanks! I've been talking with a flatbed company that is willing to keep me in Canada until I hit 21. I will add those company names to my list, incase things don't go the way they're currently planned.

I just need to finish training! I'll still post back here when I get going with a company.

ProNorth out of North Bay will hire you out of school and under 21, they'll keep you busy running Northern Ontario and Quebec.

Well said. Drivers should focus more on supporting one another, not tearing each other down. I think the subject of your post is more concerned with trying to come off as a seasoned veteran rather than giving a new guy a hand up. It's telling that the guys who are trying to actually help are the ones that have been around the block once or twice.

Well, I achieved my full class ACZ license on Monday with a perfect road test. I road tested with a flatbed company this morning in an 18 speed and things went great. I start Monday. :biggrin_255:
