Did you ever wonder why CN don't use their own trucks and drivers?

They do, there's just a massive overflow of backlogged cans that need to get off the docks so they have to farm out

So doesn't this mean they aren't CN's trucks and drivers? They're contractors....

Yes.. Not sure how CN operates here out of Surrey but I would imagine if they don't have enough of their own trucks to move something they farm out like anyone else. I'm sure you've seen Bison pulling Yankee, Challenger or Schneider trailers =/

Now I'm just a stupid trucker, but please explain how I'll earn $3000 a week on your plan?

At $30/hr, that's 100 hours a week. Problem is, we can only work 70 before a reset.

So I work my 14 allowed hours every day for 5 days, reach 70 hours, and must reset for 36 hours. That leaves 12 hours on day 7 to total 82 hours a week, absolute max.

    $30 x 82 = <$2500...

To earn $3000/week working a 70/7 work schedule you would be paying @
$43/hr. That would a hair less than triple what most company's advertising in GTA are offering.

That's not even taking into account that most o/o (or humans in general) are not looking for a long-term 82 hour/week job since that average Canadian works 35.
