Question about truck insurance price in BC

    Hi every one, I want to know if I register new trucking company in BC,start with one truck and refeer brand new and run toronto to Vancouver to california ,how much for truck,trailer and cargo insurance? I am right now in Ontario ,I konw in ON insurance company need 3 years experiance for new truck company ,it is hard to find driver , in BC only has icbc for insurance , I worry icbc has no experiance requirement but price so high .thanks

    I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forums.

    I'm not entirely following you here ........ I get that you are 'maybe' going to register a new trucking company ? Will you be the sole owner ? Will you be the sole driver as it's a one truck operation ? Or are you looking to buy the truck/trailer, incorporate the business, and hire a driver ?

    Maybe try this: (1) Google search "Insurance companies that specialize in trucking" (2) Compile a list of same (3) Ask the individual companies for an initial quote, then ask how to make the quote better IE- owner/operator, new driver, experienced driver, etc
