I use mine for meal deductions, so I keep them for 7 years. Saving yours for future generations? :biggrin_255:

I keep mine for seven as well for taxes. Thought you had to retain for three years for dot?

The driver only has to retain them for 14 days (seven in the U.S.) and the carrier for six months for "dot".

I kept paper for 7 years just in case CRA was having a boring day and decided to audit an old return. After 7 years they were used under the kindling of the wood stove. Since being on E-Log I print off monthly summaries which I keep on file for 7 years - - then off to the wood stove. DOT doesn't care after 14 days unless you're in court.
