I cannot answer your question but have you seen the US ads for Cascadia gliders? Awesome. Although posters have said you can get a glider I thought the DOT had outlawed them?

Are you talking about metro freightliner in stoney creek? If so an acquaintance bought one two years ago from them. Never seemed to have any more issues than normal and they were good with warranty. He had a Detroit with his and he bought it as a powered glider. We did heavy work so our mileage wasn't good. I think he averaged around 6 pulling a scrap trailer at Ontario gross.

I see Columbia and Coronado on their web site. Look like heavy haul trucks, I wonder if they have the Cascadias?

No idea. I would like a coronado. I had one Crapcadia with that stupid samcab computer. .. never again. There is no need for every light bulb AND the stereo system to be routed thru a computer. Your just asking for problems . Crapcadias are the cream of the crop of crap.

All of the new trucks have similar systems. At least the Cascadia has doors that are solid and do not let cold air blow in. Almost like the Columbias and Coronados have no weather strip. You can hang meat in the sleeper as cold air blows up from under the bed. Every time you close the door it flexes. I drove a 2105 Cascadia and I loved it. A glider would give you a modern comfortable cab without all the pollution junk!
