Well I guess I'll ignore any calls I get from H&R after readin this. I put in a pre application on their website today. I currently work for a service company in the oil patch in Alberta but was looking to get out of it to find something with a little more steady income. In my current line of work I make good money in the run of the year but it is so up and down that it is getting frustrating. I guess I'll keep looking around for a bit.

2years ago, I worked for a company that pay 45 cent/m going south. 48 cent/m for north. plus pick & drop. At that time H&R only pay 39 cent/ m for going from alberta to washington. and now I still get pay 45cent/m plus hourly wage for waiting time..with another conpany......:biggrin_255:

I was just looking at Kriska's website and if I'm reading it correctly they start you out at .37/mile and you can make .41/mile after 5 years.

I know McKevitt offered me a city haul job, Thunder bay to Winnipeg and all points in between at .27 mile. Even as a newbie I thought that was very low.:biggrin_25523:
