| Any Indian riders out there? I noticed there is a harley thread but didn't have a Indian thread. Since Indian was produced before Harley. Indian deserves some recognition. So if you have any pics or stories to tell about a Indian motorcycle. Please share them with everyone. Also wanted to let any Indian owner know. Indian was bought by the guy that owns kriss kraft. They are planning to have the 09 model out by the end of this year. Maybe end of summer or early fall. I would put the link on here but I'm sure it would get removed. indianmotorcycle <is the link

 Chief Deluxe Had a $10k deposit to reserve a new one last (6 months ago) I saw.Said the would perfect(oil issues) the Power Plus Engine,and use it exclusivly.Said thy had a place in Kings Mountain.Thats where they take coils for spin-on oil filters.Shiraco Honda (Founder) rode an Indain to work in Japan in the (B4 Honda Motecycle,ect was even a Dream) 40's . |

 Ingeinn Allright,I have posted a couple pics in my fotos.This was the Hershey show in '85.I remember it was a investor promo.B4 CMC?.Anyway the point was to resurect Indian M/C.I got more.Glad after that Harley shut tread,we have a Indian Motorcycle Thread.Whats in your closet (or future) Indian Motorcyle Wise Drivers? |

| One guy bought one as soon as CMC (Gilroy) started selling Indians with the Power Plus and he went though all the oil P/U service bullitens,ect and ended up getting a S&S replacement under warrenty.Last spring when I heard they were scrapping (auction) out the factory I never would have imagined a second resurection. |

| It's great to hear that Indian is coming back. We used to have a dealer near my house, and I went up there about a dozen times looking longingly at a beautiful black and gold Centennial Chief that they were selling for about $25,000. It was out of reach for me at the time, but some day I'd love to get one - especially if the company is back in business and parts are readily available. |
