I am...all of the failed Firestones came from the same (US) plant, and I think it was Decateur, Illinois. None were Chinese.

Who will be the first to suggest we all go on strike against Bridgestone , Maybe we could all change over to super spoked wooden wheels in protest against that company raising prices.

( seems tire manufactures don't bother to protest raising cost of operations and demand the government lower costs, they simply raise their own rates.. WHAT AN IDEA!)
The ONLY two ways the "Government" can control prices
  1. Get the value of the dollar under control. The contributing cause in the rise in the price in OIL is the falling dollar.
  2. Allow oil companies to drill our domestic resources.
All calls to "boycott" oil companies are fruitless, because oil companies have no control over the price of gas/diesel/oil.
