yea, im willing to bet a new V6 mustang could just about keep up with ur 95 GT..i mean, the 95 would win, but the new V6 would give it a run for its money..lol....but dont get me wrong, i love the 5.0 GTs...they sound GREAT...id love to have one, but right now i just want to get a new car for dependability

and yes, i couldnt agree more about the passengers..lol..if i cared at all, i wouldnt have bought 3 jeep wranglers in a row

this is only my second post, and i am a bit tipsy right now. one of the only things i know is a mustang with a v6 is not a mustang. if you want a fast v6 get a nissan Z. the only mustang to get is a GT v8 thats a muscle car kinda. new nissan Z probably have more horse power and go faster but if you want flow masters and a nice looking car got for it!

P.S. i would wait for the new camaro

yea, the camaro would be nice but im sure itll be expencive too.

and they GT mustang has more HP then the 350Z and its quite a bit faster too. im just not a fan of the tuner world. i had a Lexus GS400 for a while which is about as fast as the Z. i just didnt like it like i thought i would...i even put dual flowmasters on the lexus..lol...it sounded sweet as hell, but just wasnt my kinda car...i like american muscle

personal review on GT500

my friend purchased brand spanking new shelbyGT500 convertable...well hes a big muscle car kinda guy and into american muscle...well after about one week we went to PIR to do some 1/4mile runs against my subie, ofcourse we comparing apples and oranges...a rear wheel drive 500hp car to an all wheel drive 450whp on octane 92...100octane wasnt available at the moment so i couldn't remap my ECU to 505whp....we both ran pretty close ...after 5 runs i won 3 runs and he won 2...however all 5 runs i killed him off the line and he was catching up at around 80mph. Overall its a nice car but the price tag i wouldn't pay ....i bought my subaru for 36k invested around 20k so far and i run same horse power in all wheel drive....i tried to challenge him for an autocross at PIR and do some laps where i knew i could dominate him on twisty corners where his traction control button wouldnt help him lol
I drove his mustang for a little bit to get a feel for it and it definatly feels like it got balls..shifting from 1st to 2nd # 5000k has an incrediable feeling like your about to do a wheelie lol..but cornering boi i didnt feel safe taking corners at high speeds.
My friend is a mustang enthusiast and ofcourse he isnt going to stop there with a stock stang, he is planning to do bigger supercharger different cams and so on...however he is putting suspention and tires on the bottom list which is a bad idea i told him...the car has already enough power right now for him to play around id get beefier tires and a stiffer suspention maybe heaviers sways, different torque arm...but again i dont know much about mustangs...i love my all wheel drive subies!

Man- as for what you're looking at, the V6 is a more than capable car. I own an '88 Mustang drag car, and I was impressed with the power in the new Mustang's V6. For all around, they're great rides. I'd say get something you like that will serve you well as a daily driver, and stay away from the "weird" colors, everyone that I know that has anything but a "common" color gets tired of it after a while. (Like the weird greens and stuff)

damn those are NIIICE cars...but i cant justify financing 50 grand or more only a couple months into a new driving job..lol...im looking more at the 06 year for a GT mustang, and if i get a V6, ill probably just buy a brand new one...

but yea, those GT500s have HUGE power going to those rear wheels. and i dont mind those subies like yours bc they are pretty sweet...they look like an economy car, but in stock form can just about keep up with a stock LS2 Corvette. probably out run a stock LS1 vette. but im not big into the twisties...i did have a 2003 Eclipse GTS 5-spd and it was a pretty quick little car. handled great for a front wheel drive car...but tuners just are not my style.

but, the newer GT stang can #### and get..lol...0-60 in 5.1 seconds...so thats PLENTY fast for me....i think ur friends stock GT500 goes to 60 in something like 4.1 or something like that...but its FAST

i agree with the colors...im really wanting to get an all black with dark tinted windows and the chrome stainless bullit rims. those are great looking cars.

and i believe the GT and V6 would serve well for a daily driver. i believe the GT even takes regular gas. and the manual gets around 21 MPGs...much better then my 15 MPG on a good day jeep wrangler..lol...and the MPG on my jeep is only going to get worse as i mod it more and more for trail riding

i know that sounds weird to say that since i put it on here asking your thoughts, but i just wanted to see what other people thought about it....not really to help me decide if i should get it or not, just curious if any one else liked them
