That particular deal was made to help Chrysler out at Chryslers request, not the other way around. And with the current trending away from the SUV type trucks. How long will it last, before Chrysler pulls back on relocating the other truck lines back to the US? Because Nissan drops the Titan line altogether. Quote:

A 10 year old Z-71 brings 10-16K depending on the wear and tear. If it has a 2 in front of the number.... it will demand 15-25k. I'll have to look around in FL, Where I can get one for about 6k I just wish I could find a nice Jeep for about 10k

Case in point. My oldest (daughter) wanted a crew cab Z-71 for graduation. My youngest (daughter) wanted a 4x4 Xterra. The middle child (boy) wanted and got a used 280Z. The girls, settled for 2 wheel drive. Namely because I knew what they intended to do with a 4x4. And I'm not replacing engines/transmissions/rear ends every year. Crew cabs double as the family sedan here. Come deer season, they'll have AT's or mudders in place of the street tires. And the family van will do the leg work during the winter.
