| My new (to me) car. I had this nice little and paid for Cavalier. ![]() 2003, 12000 miles (no typo, 12000miles). I sold it for $7500. My father-in-law wanted a new car that was cheaper on gas than the car he had. So I bought his car for $7000. ![]() 2000 Monte-Carlo SS. It's got a few more miles on it. 90000miles. And here's some stuff the Monte has that my Cavalier didn't: 2 extra cylinders, 60 extra horses, rear discs brakes, cruise control, lots of room, power windows, mirrors and locks, remote start, heated, electric, leather seats, sunroof, ABS and traction control, dual zone climate control, and some more little stuff. And I don't really give a crap about the fuel economy of my car, the yard where I park my truck is less than 3 miles from my house. So during a normal week, I'll drive my car 6 miles.
