In 1973, I bought a new Road Runner,(low compression smog pump motor) have been a Mopar fan ever since. Last week I convinced the wife to purchase a new Chevy Impala; couldn't argue with size, ride, price, and 30 MPG. If I woulda saw that Challenger, I don't know if I would have been so eager to jump the fence.
We checked out the Chargers, but weren't too impressed with the price, and MPG, although I liked the looks of them.

My brother had a '71 Challenger. You could hear him coming a mile away. That thing was a beast!

Seen an '08 before, they're huge cars. I think something to look more forward to is the 6-speed manual transmission (featuring the pistol-grip shifter) which didn't meet the deadline in '08.
