The first cars I remember having were a 1979 Toyota Celica owned by my mom and a 1985 Buick Electra Estate Wagon complete with pealing woody side panels. I still remember my dad yelling at me for peeling off peaces of the wood grain

'58 Chevy. They traded a '56 for it, but can't remember that one, only seen pictures.
What I remember most is my car seat with a steering wheel.
It also had a turn signal indicator and a column shifter which I used to imitate my dad changing gears.
Could be one reason I've kept the column shift in my old pick up truck.

This right here was my father's first car i can remember.

After parents divorced, this was my Mom's first car - though not so nicely decked out.

I remember an old Packard can't remember the model or year. Remember Pop's 1962 Ford p.u. & his red Caddy with great big fin's, he worked that old truck do death.

My parents had a 1953 Buick Roadmaster until 58 and then a 57 Buick Special and then a 61 Buick Electra. That Electra was some car and I think my Dad was one of the only human beings on the planet who routinely drove 100 mph on the highway with the whole family in the car.
