Oh Nana, your speaking my language... I love the tri-five Chevy(55',56',57' Chevy Bel Air and 210 Chevy cars) 'grocery getter's'.
I almost bought a 57 Bel Air 4 door station wagon a few years ago, but the 57's are not my favorite(I don't like the big fins) and I did not want a 4 door at the time.
When my girlfriend and I get married and have kids I will have one...In fact since I don't have my Camaro any- more that sounds like the perfect car for my next build...Ebay here I come, Thanks Nana for reminding me.

I am 27 and have never owned any car made before 1970...
A cool car is a cool car, I don't care how old you are...And a 49 road master is a cool car...They sure don't make them like that anymore.

My folks had a 57 Plymouth Plaza, the hired hand had a Savoy with overdrive. The Plaza had a 273 with a 3 speed manual, got well over 20 mpg; when my dad got rid of it his older brother bought it.

With a hood that went on for miles...LOL

I had a buddy in High school that had a 1977 baby blue Lincoln mark V that I had a chance to drive a few times, The closet thing I can compare it to is a plane taxiing down a runway...LOL
