My 3 Free Cars in my life so far. When I turned 16 in 1987, my paternal grandfather gave me his 1978 Pontiac Bonneville 4dr, big boat, 12 MPG. I did not care, it was a car & at 16, that is freedom. In 1991, when I came back from being stationed in Iceland, my father gave me a 1979 Triumph TR-7 & kept that car for about 5 months until I needed something more reliable. I remember he worked on it the time I was in Iceland getting it road worthy, I was there for 18 months. In 2000, my same paternal grandfather gave me his 1992 Chrysler New Yorker, nice car, 1 thing I remember about this car was everytime you used the left turn signal, blew the small fuse for that signal. Had to eventually get rid of this one as the tranny was failing. One day, my Aunt, from the same paternal grandfather & sister to my father, will give me back my 1985 Toyota Celica GT 2Dr non hatchback car. I sold it to her in 1989 when I joined the service & she still has it. She has promised to give it back to me when her hubby passes on. I have been fortunate to have cars given to me and have enjoyed all of them. I wish I would have kept that TR-7 though.

My first vehicle was a 1998 Ford F-150 4x4, Triton 4.6L V8, it was a hand me down from the parents when gas prices started going up back around 06 when I graduated, just got rid of it this year, most reliable vehicle I have ever seen in my life, it survived 2 Adirondack Mountain winters with me behind the wheel, however it became a case of "repairs cost more than it's worth" and she's gone now

My first car was a 1960 Mercury 4 door rust bucket. Paid $35 for it, drove it for almost 2 years and sold it for $90. Next car was a 1965 2-door impala.. wish I still had it.

my first car was an '86 Hyundai pony traded a 197? moto-ski snowmobile for it that I bought for $75 drove it for about 4 months until the inspection ran out took it to the shop for a new inspection and the inspector offered to drive me home she was in pretty hard shape

| My first car was a 1970 Camaro. I worked at a body shop after school and during the summer to pay for it. The body shop owner was who had it and he sold it to me for a whopping $750! That was a lot for me and took me almost a whole year to pay for it. Worked out pretty good because he let me work on it after hours and by the time I was legal to drive I had the paint job finished. Man I thought I was the king of the road! I couldn't have been happier if it had been a Ferrari.
