'07 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door Rubicon.......I'd have to put a couple K down to keep it under 25K tho......Soft top......1/2 doors.......Killer factory stereo. Awesome capabilities.....all you need to do is put on a 3" lift and a set of 35's......KILLER!!

Of course it would have to be RED!!! Just like the other 3 Jeeps in the driveway!!! LOL

I have more than three jeeps but I can't stand that new one. Sorry steve. I'l hold on to my 04 rubi.

I just bought a two door toyota yaris for comuting. Tiny little car and I go 350lbs and have all the room in the world. plus it gets 40mpg. I was spending as much on gas every month as I do on my mortgage so I needed a small commuter car.

There have been some bad American cars and some bad foriegn cars in the past, I've seen both. The media and pop culture are on the side of the imports and it's starting to really hurt American companies. Guess you'll be happy when everyone buys a Toyota and there is no American auto industry left, just transplants that will take their factories south or east after they topple the home team..

Nissan has NOTHING to do with GM and Diamler made Chrysler worse. Hopefully Chrysler will be sold to a North American group soon.

While I'm no fan of the UAW and some of the gross overcompensation I'm just guessing you're jealous.

BTW: Chinese vehicles are junk. The only Chinese-made cars worth anything come from plants under partnership with an outside manufacterer. Maybe you'd like to know Buick is the most popular brand in China, followed by VW. Even the Chinese won't buy Chinese cars. The Chinese have been trying to get into the US for years but they can't build anything that meets our safety and emissions standards.

Enjoy your self-loathing, self-righteous attitude towards the American worker and American auto indusrty.
What North American group do you think would buy Chrysler ? None are interested . You said Chinese auto manufacturers have been trying to get in the U.S. for years . What better way to get a network of U.S. dealerships than to buy Chrysler ? Expect Chrysler to be sold to Chinese or Indian buyers .
But back on topic , after long waits for parts on 6 recalls my wife traded her Jeep Liberty for a Nissan Versa . It gets over 36 m.p.g. and has as much interior room as some midsize cars . Nissan will be building a similar car for Chrysler to market as their small car .

No America Auto and big oil

NO no no no See thats where you are wrong I love my Ford Excursion and my Chrysler Lebaron Conv and my GMC Truck however..... all three companies are behind in technology.. Yes We are getting the Crap kicked out of us by the Japssss and I can prove it. Name one Hybrid vehicle chrysler makes that is even close in mileage to the Prius.... NONE.... Name one ford makes >>>>the only one is the Escape which by the way I just orderd 2 months ago and it will take 4 more to get.. Yes they cant make them fast enough oh and they wouldnt want to open up an new assembly line and put american workers to work making more wow that would be an origional thought.... But that is the only one they make no others.... GM only makes the Malibu.... and it isnt that great unless you want a big bulky SUV version... Basically they have let big oil lead them down a path of Bankruptcy..... They wont make a Hybrid Minivan for the family (hmmmmm why????) Toyota has one and has had it for 5 years but wont bring it to america....... Shoot Ford has killed off their mini van it will be made no longer.... Yet Chryslers is a number 1 seller.... Does that make since?? My favorite video is "who killed the electric car" You watch that documentary just once and tell me how great GM is. And yes I use to love GM my grandmother was a GM retireee. and My uncle was a Designer. But We have to get into the 21st century... I also think Pickins plan makes since. Also look at HONDA they have the first Hydrogen car on the road this year in California for lease to anyone any average joe consumer for $599 per month. NOt GM, Not Chrysler, Not, Ford, They all say it cant be done... I hate it that Japan beats us but we have goten lazy and become a walmart country have it made over thier so we can get it cheap (hmm then who here has a job other than at walmart). Our young people dont want to work just want to show up 15 minutes late take extra long breaks and leave early and dont ask them to think or do anything extra.

I'd guess that the smartest choice would probably be a 2009 Civic. Good resale value, good mileage, cheap to fix and it isn't as likely to break down as most other cars. Still, it's kinda boring. I'd like to get a GTI coupe even though my mechanic tells me that more recent VW engines are hit and miss.
