The Vega had that "anti theft device" in the shifter. You pull this little stick out of it and you couldn't get it out of park. We drove a friend crazy back in high school, every time he got out of that car we'd take that stick.

why are you guys picking on the AMC products?? had some javelins back in the day that ran hard, had one with a six that had a 4bbl intake and headers that pulled harder than a 305 camaro. have you ever seen a gremlin with a 401 pull wheelies running down the 1/4 mile? sure Pacers and Matadors were odd looking but i would drive a 401 pacer x around just to toy with guys who thought they had fast cars(you can easily get 500hp out of an AMC 401). what about the early corvair, the falcon and the 62 valiants??

Javelins were cool two friends of mine had those back in the day. They hauled some serious booty, and they were fast too!

tuckers are cool cars. The two seat javelins were too.

I've always thought of fiats as pretty darn embarrising but I recently found the Fiat spider 124 and I think I want one. of course I doubt I fit in it so I'll make the wife drive it. lol

I had a red fiat spyder when I lived in Savannah. Always had brake problems and constantly would over heat for no reason. Starter issues too but man it wan nice to take to the beach!
